Quality of service is paramount in such a competitive industry and Mike Boxwell at Bybox was keen to ensure that this quality was monitored throughout a package’s journey and to minimise the problems when goods arrive damaged. To achieve this, Bybox contacted Lamerholm to discuss the use of its ShockLog damage deterrent system.

ShockLog was perfect to monitor the valuable and fragile equipment that we were carrying and delivering.” says Mike. “We started the project by building the ShockLog into dummy units to enable us to pinpoint the exact time and place of damage. Our tests showed the surprising result that packages were more likely to be mishandled by the recipient than they were when being handled by us! We now regularly use ShockLog to keep everyone on their toes and our quality standards the best they could possibly be.”
