Essential to the operation of the ShockWatch ImpactManager and EquipManager ranges is the unique, user-adjustable 360º sensor. Based on patented magnetic technology, the sensor allows for real-time impact detection and recording. This means that when an impact exceeds the specified threshold, time, date and driver ID are recorded.
Because the sensor is capable of recording impacts in any direction, in 360º horizontal plane, unlike more traditional front to back sensors, the likelihood of missing events is greatly reduced.
The senor can be supplied in three different ranges of sensitivity depending on application.
