ImpactManager SC

ShockWatch ImpactManager SC is a simple, compact, cost-effective impact detection device for forklift trucks and other materials handling equipment. Designed to reduce operator, equipment and product damage, use of the ShockWatch ImpactManager SC results in lower maintenance and repair costs, along with greater productivity due to less injury and downtime.

The ShockWatch ImpactManager SC is mounted directly onto the materials handling equipment, and in the event of a collision, exceeding a pre-defined threshold, an alarm is activated. This means that the time and point of impact is immediately identifiable and corrective action can be taken.

As well as providing timely impact information, use of the ShockWatch ImpactManager SC increases operator accountability and improves driver behaviour. For health and safety managers, installation of impact detection equipment reinforces safe vehicle operations and procedures without supervisory presence.

Real-time impact detection is made possible through the use of patented, user-adjustable sensors and a tamper-proof barrel lock enables and resets the unit. A quick check of operational status can be made through use of a test button.

Five models are available from the SC1000 stand-alone version run by rechargeable batteries to the SC1080 that is powered by the forklift battery and uses a remote panel for mounting within the vehicle.
